Job summary

Levante Living is seeking staff in Arnprior, Ontario to support dining services for residents in a caring retirement setting. You will handle meals, teas, and room service while maintaining a welcoming dining area and safe, respectful environment for residents.

You may assist in kitchen/dishwashing duties and ensure regulatory compliance during service. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the care team.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of dining service and resident functions, including teas and room service.
• Maintain proper dining room setup.
• Monitor checklists supporting dining area cleanliness and readiness.
• Create an atmosphere of respect, dignity and safety for residents during dining.
• Assist in kitchen and dishwashing areas as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable food service regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing all aspects of dining service and resident functions such as teas and room service including table/tray presentation
• Maintaining proper dining room set up
• Monitoring appropriate checklists in support of the dining area, cleanliness, readiness, standard
• Establishes and maintains an atmosphere conductive to pleasant dining by creating an environment which maintains the respect, dignity, and physical safety of each resident
• Assisting in the kitchen/dishwashing area as required
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service
• Performs other duties as assigned.
