Lev Senior Living is seeking a part-time dietary server in Lindsay, Ontario. The role focuses on creating a pleasant dining experience for residents and families, in a warm, confidential setting.

Ideal candidates bring customer service experience and a caring, team‑oriented attitude, with willingness to follow supervisor directions. Retirement setting serving experience is an asset; opportunities for education bursaries and growth are available.

Qualifications

• Caring, friendly, nurturing attitude toward residents.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Positive, team‑oriented with good attention to detail.
• Customer service experience background.
• Willingness to accept direction from supervisor.
• Serving experience in a retirement setting is an asset.
• Food handlers certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all mealtimes are a pleasant dining experience for residents and families.
• Deliver services in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
• Maintain confidentiality of facility information.
• Assist with preparation and set up of dining rooms; take meal orders and serve meals.
• Perform cleaning duties as required.
• Promote a culture of engagement.

Job description

Week 2: Thursday 7am-2pm, Friday 7am-2pm, Saturday 7am-2pm

Requirements:

• Preference will be given to individuals who have experience in hospitality, retirement living, and a food handlers certificate.

Qualifications:

• Exhibits a caring, friendly, nurturing attitude while demonstrating a true concern for the residents that they serve.
• Possess the ability to read, write and communicateeffectively in English.
• Able to deal with all contacts appropriately to maintain a positive image and reputation for Adelaide Place.
• Positive, team played with a "Can-do Attitude" with good attention to details
• Customer service experience background
• Able to accept direction well from supervisor
• Have a desire to make a difference in the lives of older adults each day.
• Task-oriented individual
• Serving experience in a retirement setting is an asset

Responsibilities:

• The dietary server is responsible for ensuring that all mealtimes are a pleasant dining experience on a consistent basis for the resident and their families.
• To ensure that services are delivered in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Maintain confidentiality of all facility information.
• Assist with preparation and set up of dining rooms for meal service, take resident meal orders and serve meals.
