Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician III to learn and grow under supervision, assisting with major component removal and repair as part of a structured apprenticeship.

You will work on trucks and equipment, using a range of hand and power tools, while developing skills in preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and customer service in a dynamic shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years practical experience with vehicle repair or truck repair preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
• Must be currently enrolled in an apprentice program.
• Must maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies.
• Must have a valid Driver's license (Class G/5) and be able to obtain Class DZ within 6 months of hire.
• Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Remove, replace or adjust components under supervision: brakes, fifth wheel, minor electrical repairs, cab components and doors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Assist with repairs and replacements as directed by technicians or supervisor.
• Handle customer service duties as necessary.
• Assist with pickup and delivery of vehicles.
