Job summary

Penske is seeking entry-level Diesel Technician III candidates at the Etobicoke location. The role involves assisting with major and minor repairs, learning under lead technicians, and performing preventive maintenance on diesel trucks.

Qualifications

• 1-2 year’s practical experience with vehicle repair or truck repair preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
• Must be currently enrolled in an apprentice program.
• Must maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies.
• Basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Remove, replace or adjust brakes, fifth wheel, or minor electrical components under supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Assist with repairs and replacements as directed by senior technicians.
• Handle customer service duties as needed.
• Assist with pickup and delivery of vehicles.
