Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Edmonton is hiring an entry-level Diesel Technician to join our shop team and learn from experienced technicians on trucks and maintenance tasks.

You will assist with repairs, preventive maintenance, and customer service duties while gaining hands-on experience, with advancement opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Shift is Mon-Fri, 3:15PM-11:45PM, with premiums for 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends, in a modern, well-equipped shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be currently enrolled in an apprentice program.
• Must maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies.
• Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Remove, replace or adjust brakes, fifth wheel, and related components with supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles as trained.
• Assist with other mechanical repairs under supervision by Lead Technician or Supervisor.
• Handle customer service duties as necessary.
• Pick up and delivery of vehicles.
