Job summary

Harvey & Company LTD in Corner Brook, NL is seeking a Journeyperson Truck and Transport Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on International Motors and IC Bus vehicles. You will follow repair procedures, maintain safety, and ensure high-quality service for customers.

Responsibilities include reviewing repair orders, performing inspections, sourcing parts, documenting work, and mentoring apprentices while upholding safety and efficiency in a fast-paced service environment.

Qualifications

• Heavy-duty technician qualification or equivalent.
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain CDL.
• International Master Certified is preferred.
• Applicable industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for service events by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools.
• Perform maintenance and repairs accurately and safely.
• Document work in repair orders and coordinate handovers.
• Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair vehicles.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of International and IC Bus offerings.
• Promote safety and compliance in the workplace.
• Mentor apprentices and coworkers through hands-on coaching.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
