Job summary

Inland Truck & Equipment is seeking a skilled Truck & Transport Technician for our Houston, BC dealership. You will repair and maintain diesel engine industrial trucks, troubleshoot performance issues, and work closely with parts and service teams to ensure quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Truck & Transport Technician is essential.
• Minimum five years related experience or equivalent training.
• CVIP Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license; Class 3 with Airbrake Endorsement or Class 1 preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be mobile around shop and yard.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain diesel engine industrial trucks per dealership and factory specs.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions from customer complaints.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain required parts.
• Tag and save parts under warranty or upon customer request.
• Assess vehicle to determine further safety/work needed and document all work.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
