Job summary

Dueck Auto Group in Delta is looking for a skilled Diesel & Truck Technician to join our expanding Commercial Truck Service Team. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of diesel truck or bus experience and be either Red Seal Certified or a 3rd–4th year Apprentice.

You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing medium-duty trucks, utilizing OEM diagnostic tools, and ensuring clear communication with the team. We offer a supportive work environment with substantial benefits, including full-time hours and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel truck or bus experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid Class 5 license (Class 1 or 3 is a bonus).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks (Isuzu and other medium-duty platforms).
• Perform CVIPs, safety inspections, emission & DEF system repairs.
• Document your work clearly and communicate with the Foreman.

Dueck Isuzu is expanding our Commercial Truck Service Team, and we’re looking for a Diesel & Truck Technician who’s either Red Seal Certified or a 3rd–4th year Apprentice with strong diagnostics and at least 5 years of hands‑on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks (Isuzu and other medium‑duty platforms)
• Perform CVIPs, safety inspections, emission & DEF system repairs
• Use OEM diagnostic tools like G‑IDSS, Allison DOC, Cummins Insite, etc.
• Document your work clearly and communicate with the Foreman
• Keep your workspace clean and organized in line with 5S practices
• Mentor and support junior apprentices when needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel truck or bus experience
• Red Seal Certification OR 3rd–4th year Apprentice
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with diagnostic software (OEM preferred)
• Valid Class 5 license (Class 1 or 3 is a bonus)
