Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. seeks a skilled Service Technician to join our Alberta/BC dealership network. You will review repair orders, perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on heavy‑duty trucks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will document findings, close out orders, and mentor apprentices while promoting a safe, professional work environment. Experience with Prevost/MCI or similar highway coaches is an asset, and Red Seal certification is required or

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck & Transport Journeyman required.
• CVIP license preferred.
• Experience on Prevost, MCI or similar highway coaches is a plus.
• Diagnose/repair diesel engines, drivetrains, air brakes and ride systems.
• Troubleshoot multiplex electrical systems and coach HVAC units.
• Class 2 license is an asset.
• Willing to undergo dealer training at Red Deer facility.
• Pride and professionalism in all work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for service jobs by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and keep work area clean and organized.
• Document findings and communicate issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support transitions to next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.

• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• BC Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) License is preferred.
• Previous experience working on Prevost, MCI, or similar highway coach models is an asset.
• Diagnosing and repairing advanced diesel engines, drive train, and air brake systems/air ride systems.
• Troubleshooting complex multiplex electrical systems and specialized coach HVAC units.
• Class 2 or better driver’s license an asset.
• A desire to challenge yourself, and a willingness to embrace the extensive dealer training opportunities we provide through our dedicated training facility located at our Red Deer location.
