VIA Rail Canada Inc., Canada's national passenger rail service, seeks a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join the team at the Toronto Maintenance Center in Etobicoke. You will carry out inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on locomotives, troubleshoot defects, and ensure compliance with VIA Rail standards and Transport Canada requirements.
The role offers 40 hours per week with 5x8 or 4x10 shifts, day/night/weekend/holiday rotations, and potential overtime.
