Job summary

William Osler Health System in Ontario is hiring for a part-time dialysis patient services role. Under the direction of the clinical team you will perform direct patient services tasks including transfers, patient temperatures, weighing and using aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities include comprehensive cleaning, preparation and disinfection of dialysis machines, preparation of pre-packages, waste removal, linen and restock of supplies; transport of equipment and maintenance of a safe

Qualifications

• Registered with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA).
• Personal support worker certificate from a recognized Canadian Community College.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience with dialysis patients and dialysis machine prep.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient transfer, care, and vital signs using aseptic techniques.
• Clean, prepare and disinfect dialysis machines.
• Prepare pre-packages, manage waste, linen, and restock supplies.
• Transport equipment and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and travel between Osler sites as required.
