Job summary

Lakeridge Health in Oshawa is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Ambulatory Hemo In Centre nephrology program. The role spans days, evenings, weekends, and on-call schedules, with a focus on high-quality patient care within our nephrology services.

The successful candidate will have Ontario RN registration, current BCLS, and a minimum of 3 years hemodialysis experience, with preference for BScN and nephrology certification. This is a full-time, in-centre role based in Oshawa.

Qualifications

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.
• Current BCLS.
• Minimum of 3 years hemodialysis experience.
• Nephrology nursing certificate preferred or progression towards completion.
• Familiar with electronic documentation.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform duties in emergency situations and to lift/transfer patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, safe, kidney care within in-centre hemodialysis.
• Support staffing needs across Oshawa, Whitby and Lakeridge Gardens.
• Collaborate with interprofessional nephrology team to meet care targets and standards.
