Job summary

Jobtailor in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a university student for a 12-week internship in software development. You will implement and test code changes, troubleshoot defects, and contribute to design recommendations as part of a team building modern cloud-enabled applications.

During the internship you will work 35 hours per week starting January 4th (January 5th for Quebec) and must be an active student; bilingual in English and French is required for Quebec roles.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a university degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
At least one prior internship in a similar or related role.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Interest in continuous delivery pipelines and testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
Excellent communication skills and passion for technology.
Self-reliance and strong sense of responsibility.
Availability to work full-time, 35 hours per week, from January 4th (January 5th for Quebec) to April 23rd
Must be an active student during the internship and/or returning to school in Summer or Fall 2027.
Bilingual in English and French for Quebec roles
Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout employment.
