Job summary

Intact invites applications for DevOps Intern positions across Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. You will contribute to designing innovative IT solutions, analyze business processes, and advise on technical strategies while participating in transformative projects.

This Winter Term is full-time (35 hours/week) with start in January and ending in April, and requires active student status for 2027 return. Technical skills include Java, Groovy/Gradle, Jenkins, Angular, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a university degree in software engineering or computer science.
• Have at least one prior internship in a similar or related role.
• Understand the software development lifecycle and continuous delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Implements and tests code changes to fix defects and enhance software products.
• Troubleshoots defects and contributes to remediation plans.
• Assists in developing requirements and provides design recommendations.
• Participates in the discovery phase of projects to create high‑level designs.
• Installs and configures hardware, software, and cloud services.

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35‑hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We are seeking three interns: one based in Vancouver, one in Toronto, and one in Montreal

In the DevOps Intern role, you will:

• Supports in solving software/system monitoring issues and performs configuration activities.
• Assists in automating deployment of solutions as code.
• Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter Term from January 4th (January 5ht for Quebec) to April 23rd ;
• Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Summer or Fall 2027 following your internship;
• Be bilingual for all Quebec roles (English and French).
• Need to interact regular with colleagues across the country.
