Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation in Montreal seeks a DevOps Intern to join a growing digital, data, and technology team. You will implement and test code changes, troubleshoot defects, assist in high-level designs, and help automate deployments as code.

• Currently pursuing a university degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Have at least one prior internship in a similar or related role.
• Understand the software development lifecycle and be curious about continuous delivery pipelines and testing.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology.
• Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Available to work full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter Term from January 5th to April 23rd.
• Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Summer or Fall 2027 following your internship.
• Be bilingual for all Quebec roles (English and French).

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well. Salary range (but not limited to): 61,500 - 76,900
