Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Lead, Design Systems & Design Operations for its Digital Wealth team in Toronto. You will shape design systems across Investor’s Edge and Wealth experiences, driving reusable components, tokens and governance while collaborating with Design, Product and Technology to ensure scalable, accessible experiences.

You’ll advance AI-assisted workflows and design-to-code practices to speed delivery and consistency, with on‑site and remote work discussions at interview.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise design systems, design operations and governance.
• 8+ years in Product Design, UX/UI or related disciplines.
• Ability to lead design tokens, components and theming across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and governance of Wealth design system across web/mobile.
• Define reusable components, design tokens and cross‑platform specs.
• Establish scalable design operations for planning, reviews and delivery.
• Partner with Tech and Product to translate standards into implementation.
• Advance AI-assisted workflows and design‑to‑code practices for quality.
