Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Design Project Control Professional in Canada to lead cost management across the design and engineering phase of major capital projects within the Mobility Global Business Area. You will establish cost systems, manage budgeting and forecasting, and report KPI and EV indicators for informed decision-making.

Requirements include 5-8 years in cost management, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or project controls on large infrastructure projects (Marine projects preferred).
• Proven experience working within a design and engineering consultancy environment.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP or similar financial systems, and advanced Excel; experience with Power BI, Smartsheet or similar tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management on major capital projects with governance, analysis, and reporting.
• Establish and maintain cost systems (Oracle, Unifier) and track KPI metrics and EV indicators.
• Oversee labour cost allocation, invoicing, payments, and cash-flow processes.
• Prepare cost estimates for minor scopes and variations for review.
• Collaborate with Project Director and Commercial Lead to ensure alignment across design, delivery, and controls.
