Job summary

Arcadis Canada is seeking a senior project leader to oversee large, multidisciplinary programs across architecture, engineering, environment, and infrastructure. You will guide teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk, and ensure high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.

You will mentor project managers, coordinate with clients and subconsultants, lead proposals, and participate in governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (required).
• Registered Professional Engineer in Canada (required).
• PMP certification preferred.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP is an asset.
• 15+ years of experience managing large, complex projects.
• Experience with Design-Build, P3, IPD delivery models.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in contract negotiation, commercial management, and conflict resolution.
• Experience in Oracle.
• Knowledge of project controls including cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and tracking.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work across teams, regions, and disciplines.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to travel.
• Must be eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects to meet client goals, project requirements, and Arcadis business objectives.
• Support project teams and leadership on project delivery, commercial issues, risk management, and execution strategy.
• Be responsible for delivering projects in line with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contract requirements.
• Lead and support teams across disciplines, including architecture, engineering, environmental, infrastructure, and project controls.
• Work with project teams and internal support groups to manage contracts and resolve issues.
• Lead major project proposals, including scope, fees, delivery plans, and staffing.
• Participate in project reviews, reporting, and internal governance activities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, partners, and subconsultants to support project success.
• Monitor project performance and help teams address issues related to cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
• Manage project financial and operational activities: budgets, forecasting, revenue tracking, invoicing, and reporting.
• Use project data to support decision-making and improve outcomes.
• Share lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Mentor and support team members through coaching and knowledge sharing.
