Qualifications

• Must be available to work full-time, including evenings and weekends.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join our Retail Team as our Design Consultant (Full Commission). This role is full-time, permanent working out of our EQ3 Hanna Showroom store located at 3- 51 Hanna Avenue, M6K 3N7, Toronto, ON.

THE SKILLS YOU'LL NEED:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commission-based retail sales environment
• Proficient in operations and systems, including POS system and Microsoft Office
• Possess a creative flair or instinct that would be an asset to EQ3 sales objectives
• Knowledgeable of every product & home accessory offered within the store
• Detail-oriented in all aspects of the job

• Self-motivated, able to work well with little or no supervision, and with a strong positive attitude
• Must be available to work full-time, up to and including evenings and weekends

• Assist customers through their selection and purchase through defining their 'needs' and marrying those needs to the benefit of all product combinations and functions
• Responsible for driving and suggesting in-store and in-home consultations
• Provide a complete individualized design solution based on identified customer needs, including creating floor plans for customers, to close the sale
• Maintains company standards regarding personal and store sales/performance metrics
• Responsible for tracking orders through completion
• Establish rapport and obtain customers' appointments and in-home consultations
