TalentSphere has partnered with a well-established and award-winning architecture firm with an office in Calgary to assist them in finding a high-level Designer or Design Architect to join their team. This firm has an excellent reputation for high-end and unique design, with a portfolio that includes both large-scale developments and small, boutique projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and First Nations work. The firm is continuing to grow, offering a great opportunity to join their collaborative team as they produce award-winning projects and deliver excellent client service.

THE JOB

This role suits a well-rounded architect or architectural professional comfortable working on all project phases, including high-level design from schematics to design completion. The ideal candidate will appreciate great design work and have a background demonstrating this. You will contribute throughout all project phases and be involved in various projects across different sectors, both small and large.

WHAT'S REQUIRED

The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience with mid to large-sized multi-family developments, some commercial work, and other project experience is a plus. You should be capable of working independently and managing projects from schematic design through to completion. Technical skills must include designing details, drawing details, producing full working drawing packages, construction documents, and development permits. Strong Revit skills are essential. Ideally, you will be registered with the AAA or eligible to become registered, with at least 5 years of industry experience. Strong designers (non-registered) with a dynamic skill set will also be considered.
