OMERS, a leading Canadian pension plan, is seeking an Analyst for the Derivative Operations team in Toronto. The role supports middle-office workflows, including trade capture, settlements, reconciliations and lifecycle events across OTC, derivatives and other instruments.

The analyst will on-board counterparties, validate positions, prepare reports, and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with ISDA/CSA and related agreements.

Competenze

• University degree in finance or related field.
• Professional designation pursued (CFA/CGA/CMA) is an asset.
• Experience in investment operations with derivatives instruments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Process derivative investment transactions and ensure accurate settlements.
• On-board counterparties and manage lifecycle events for OTC and listed derivatives.
• Prepare management reports and monitor compliance with ISDA/CSA and other agreements.
• Identify improvements and implement process automation.
• Collaborate with internal teams including auditors and brokers.
