Job description

CONTRACT: Windows End-Point Deployment Analyst

TERM: July 2025 - March 31, 2027

LOCATION: On-Site in Regina, SK, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Complex work related to the design, implementation, and management of Windows enterprise desktop environments (1000+ endpoints)

Creating standardized desktop images

Developing and implementing patch management and application deployment strategies

Ensuring that desktop environments are stable, secure, and up to date

Active Directory Group Policy design

Network and security configuration for the desktop environment

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering or a related field supporting a large-scale (1000+ endpoints), mission-critical enterprise in a 24x7 operating environment
• Proven competency in Computer Support (Tier 2)
• Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting
• Experience with Lenovo Desktops & Notebooks
• Experience with Panasonic Ruggedized Toughbooks
• Must have valid (Class 5 Saskatchewan) driver's License

Typical activities in this role include, but are not limited to:

1. Management and Administration of SCCM/MECM Environment, including co-management with Intune

2. Advanced experience in creating and maintaining standardized Windows images (Desired Configuration Management).

3. Windows Application Packaging & Task Sequences, Windows Installer, MSI, and MSIX.

4. Expertise in Microsoft SQL scripting, queries, and reporting.

5. Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and PowerShell scripting.

6. Managing Microsoft Updates with SCCM (Patch Tuesday).

7. Advanced experience in Active Directory Group Policy design, configuration, and management.

8. Desktop and Laptop Computer Hardware Configuration, Troubleshooting, and Repair.

9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
