InSync Systems is seeking a Windows End-Point Deployment Analyst for a 20-month contract in Regina. Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Windows End-Point Deployment Analyst for a 20-month contract position, with possible extensions in Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Position is available as on-site location, Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm. Occasional travel and over time may be required. Must be able to attend an in-person interview if shortlisted.

Role Description

This role involves more complex work related to the design, implementation, and management of Windows enterprise desktop environments. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating standardized desktop images, developing and implementing patch management and application deployment strategies. Additionally, ensuring that desktop environments are stable, secure, and up to date. The role is also responsible for Policy design, and network and security configuration for the desktop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Management and Administration of SCCM/MECM Environment, including co-management with Intune
  • Advanced experience in creating and maintaining standardized Windows images (Desired Configuration Management)
  • Windows Application Packaging & Task Sequences, Windows Installer, MSI, and MSIX
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL scripting, queries, and reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and PowerShell scripting
  • Managing Microsoft Updates with SCCM (Patch Tuesday)
  • Advanced experience in Active Directory Group Policy design, configuration, and management
  • Desktop and Laptop Computer Hardware Configuration, Troubleshooting, and Repair
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience desktop engineering or a related field supporting a large scale (1000+ endpoints), mission critical enterprise in a 24x7 operating environment or equivalent
  • Resource must be able to lift packages up to 25 lbs
  • Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License at the time of proposal submission
  • Management and administration of SCCM/MECM Environment
  • Management of Windows endpoints with Intune
  • Advanced experience in creating and maintaining standardized windows images. (Desired Configuration Management)
  • Windows Application Packaging & Task Sequences, Windows Installer, MSI and MSIX.
  • Microsoft SQL scripting, queries and reporting expertise
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365 and PowerShell scripting
  • Managing Microsoft Updates with SCCM (Patch Tuesday)
  • Windows 11 Advanced Technical Experience
  • Advanced experience Active Directory Group Policy design, configuration, management
  • Desktop & Laptop Computer Hardware Configuration, troubleshooting and repair
  • Minimum 5 years experience Computer Support (Tier 2)
  • Experience with MECM/ Intune co-management of Windows
  • Experience with Lenovo Desktops & Notebooks
  • Experience with Panasonic Ruggedized Toughbooks for field workers
