Job summary

The Home Depot in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a results‑driven retail supervisor to lead and inspire a team of associates. You will coach staff, ensure top‑notch customer service, and maintain strong merchandising and product knowledge across departments.

You’ll monitor staffing levels, review performance, and communicate store sales, promotions, and safety standards. The role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience as a supervisor / leading teams.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings and weekends.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent decision making ability and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire associates to build relationships with customers, peers and team.
• Ensure department staffing levels meet business needs.
• Manage associate performance through development, communication, rewards and recognition, and ongoing feedback.
• Review sales and reports with an assistant manager to improve inventory, overhead organization and cross merchandising to drive sales.
• Maintain 100% in stock and overhead organizational plans.
• Investigate, resolve and escalate customer issues as appropriate.
• Communicate store sales, event and promotional activities through rallies and weekly department meetings.
• Ensure all Safety and Asset Protection standards and protocols are followed.

What you will be doing:
