The Department Risk Specialist will deliver operational and strategic risk management expertise to ensure City Operations effectively measures and proactively mitigates short, medium and long term risks to service delivery. Reporting to the Manager of Business Planning and Performance (BPP), the Department Risk Specialist will contribute to the development of strategy and planning projects by leading risk identification, assessment, treatment and monitoring for the City Operations branches (Edmonton Transit Service, Fleet and Facility Services, Parks and Roads Services and Waste Services). The role also works with the Corporate Budget and Business Planning branch to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and City Council priorities.

Up to 1 permanent full-time position
Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week. The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time. Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance.
Salary Range: $51.611 - $65.218 (Hourly); $90,925.680 - $114,897.810 (Annually)
