Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Prévost, Quebec, is seeking a Department Manager to lead a store department and drive day-to-day operations.

You will set objectives, communicate expectations, coach the team, and ensure purchases, inventories, pricing and marketing align with standards.

What might a typical day look like?

As a department manager, you will have to :

• perform various management activities within your department;

• ensure the management of purchases, inventories, price lists, marketing, salary productivity according to established standards in order to ensure business readiness;
• apply and respect the budgets related to his department.
