Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Laurentides, QC is seeking a Department Manager to coordinate daily department activities, coach staff, and ensure store standards are met. The role includes managing buying, pricing, and merchandising to drive performance and customer satisfaction.

This full-time position requires retail experience and a willingness to grow into higher management responsibilities within the organization. Flexible scheduling and day shifts are available on-site.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail experience or more.
• High school diploma or college degree with management experience.
• Interest in expanding from department management to senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Define objectives and clearly communicate expectations to your team while coaching for results.
• Oversee purchases, inventories, price lists, marketing and productivity in the department.
• Ensure budgets related to the department are followed and align with company standards.
