Serving the community for nearly 10 years now, the clinic is dedicated to providing quality care while building a stronger, more respectful and collaborative team culture.This is a regular full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented dental professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in patient service, and brings working knowledge of dental insurance systems including the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). Your Role: Keep the Clinic Running Smoothly and ProfessionallyAs the front-line point of contact for patients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring both operational flow and positive patient experience:- Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth; register arrivals and update personal and medical information.
- Manage appointment scheduling by confirming, adjusting, and optimizing the daily calendar for efficiency.
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in person, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Process payments and issue receipts while maintaining up-to-date financial records.
- Submit insurance claims and predeterminations, including those for CDCP and AccertaWorks, and verify patient coverage.
- Coordinate with denturists and dental technicians to monitor patient case progress and ensure seamless communication.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in both digital and paper formats.
- Enter clinic expenses into QuickBooks or similar software to assist with bookkeeping and financial tracking.
- Support basic clinical flow by wiping and resetting operatories between patients when needed.
- Keep the reception area clean and inviting, creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Follow all clinic policies and uphold patient confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
- Foster a respectful, team-focused work environment through professional communication and thoughtful collaboration.
What You Bring: Skill, Maturity, and a Service-First Approach- Minimum 1 year of dental reception experience (required)
- Familiarity with CDCP processes and submitting pre-determinations
- Working knowledge of dental scheduling and billing systems
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software (asset)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain composed and courteous in a busy environment
- High attention to detail, with a strong sense of discretion and professionalism
- A desire to contribute to a team culture that values respect, communication, and patient care
What’s Offered: A Stable Role with Real Impact- $25.00–$27.00/hour, depending on experience
