Job summary

Hillcrest Dental in Richmond Hill, Ontario, is seeking a compassionate Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join a friendly, patient-centered team. You will be the first point of contact, delivering an outstanding patient experience while supporting administrative operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental/medical admin experience, strong dental terminology knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of dental or medical administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with Tracker software is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Manage inbound/outbound calls: schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and support patient needs.
  • Process patient information, insurance details, and claims according to office policies.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
  • Support treatment plan coordination and financial discussions, when required.
  • Complete administrative duties including filing, data entry, email correspondence, and document preparation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area.
  • Assist with monitoring and ordering office supplies.

Role Hours: Monday & Tuesday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. | Wednesday & Thursday: 10 a.m.–7 p.m. | Friday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. | Saturday (1x/month): 8:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
