Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Dental Assistant for the Oral Maxillofacial Clinic. The successful candidate will support the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and Health Services Manager in a high-demand environment, assisting in outpatient oral surgery under sedation.

Responsibilities include surgical assisting, radiographs, impressions, and intra/extra-oral photography for documentation. Requires approved DA course, NS licensure, and minimum 1 year experience; French language skills are a plus.

Competenze

• Graduate of an approved Dental Assistant course.
• Registered as a Dental Assistant in the Province of Nova Scotia.
• Minimum of one year Registered Dental Assistant experience required.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
