The Marshall Group is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant Level II to join our client’s dental office in Etobicoke on a part-time Tuesday schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting dentist during procedures, taking X-rays, impressions, and maintaining patient comfort throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a Dental Assistant.
• HARP certification required.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place and remove rubber dams.
• Take and expose dental X-rays.
• Keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced Dental Assistant, min 2+years
• Must be HARP certified
• Must have excellent command of the English language

LOCATION

Etobicoke (Martin Grove/Eglinton-free parking)

HOURS

Tuesdays (arrive 9:45-6)

COMPENSATION

$25-$30, possibly more depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW

• Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
• Assisting dentist with surgery, root canals, crowns, bridges,veneers, implants invisalign, fillings,extractionsandmouthguards
• Placement and removal of rubber dams
• Taking x-rays of patients' teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
• Using suction and swabs to keeppatients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
• Taking preliminary impressions
• Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
• Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentist's reference
• Advising patients on dental care, oralhygiene and plaque control programs
• Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before,during and after dental treatment
