Job summary

Lac La Ronge Indian Band Schools is seeking a self-motivated Dental Assistant to support the Dental Therapist/Dentist during procedures and to help promote the Dental Care Program for children enrolled in the Lac La Ronge Indian Band Schools. You will engage with students and families, delivering care and education in a collaborative, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Certified in Dental Assisting and registered (or eligible for registration) with Saskatchewan Dental Assistants’ Association.
• Strong organization skills and able to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team member.
• Intermediate computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and public relations skills.
• Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and able to travel when required.
• Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset.
• Ability to speak Cree is a definite asset.
