Job summary

Lac La Ronge Indian Band in Saskatchewan is seeking two self-motivated Dental Assistants to support our Dental Therapy Program. You will prepare and assist the Dental Therapist or Dentist during procedures, provide fluoride treatments, and educate children on oral health within the Lac La Ronge community.

You must be certified or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dental Assistants Association, with strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant with registration or eligibility for registration with the Saskatchewan Dental Assistants Association.
• Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Intermediate computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and public relations.
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver's license and be able to travel when required.
• Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset.
• Ability to speak Cree is a definite asset.
