Job summary

Dentalcorp's Sault Family Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support dentists, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a clean, efficient workflow. You’ll prepare rooms, take X-rays, and help educate patients on oral care in a friendly, collaborative environment.

Legally eligible to work in Canada; provincial certification or registration is required. Prior dental assisting experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Patient care oriented with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
