Job summary

Dawson Dental Innisfil is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists, help patients feel comfortable, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

You will prepare rooms, assist during procedures, and manage patient charts, X-rays, and education on oral hygiene while adhering to IPAC guidelines in a busy practice environment.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
