Applewood Dental in Innisfil, Ontario seeks a friendly and organized Patient Care Coordinator to support patient reception and scheduling. You will greet patients, manage appointments, and handle billing and insurance inquiries as part of a collaborative team using modern dental software.

The role requires at least 2 years of dental administration experience, familiarity with dental software, and a professional, patient-centered approach.

• Minimum 2 years of Dental Administration experience is required.
• Experience with dental software programs is required.
• Clinical background is considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, creating a warm and positive first impression.
• Optimize the daily appointment schedule to ensure full utilization with minimal gaps.
• Effectively manage the recall system and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
• Handle incoming patient calls and inquiries, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, changes, and cancellations.
• Process referral letters and other patient correspondence from providers; organize, manage, and file all patient records and charts.
• Proactively manage potential cancellations and address objections to encourage patients to keep their appointments.
• Complete patient billing following treatment, process payments, submit insurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries in a professional and positive manner.
