Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Brampton is seeking a dental assistant to support a busy dental practice. The role involves chairside assistance, sterilization, x-ray processing, and patient preparation.

You will order supplies, maintain instruments, schedule appointments, and educate patients on oral hygiene. The position requires 7 months to <1 year experience, and a College/CEGEP or equivalent education. On-site work only. English communication required.

Qualifications

TASKS

• Prepare patients for dental examinations
• Prepare plaster models and moulds
• Order dental and office supplies
• Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
• Maintain and order supplies
• Perform reception and clerical duties
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
• Educate patients concerning oral hygiene
• Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
• Take and develop X-rays
• Record dental procedures performed on patients
• Invoice patients for dental services
• Polish and buff dentures
• Fabricate and place temporary crowns and restorations
