Job summary

Iqaluit Dental Clinic in Iqaluit, NU seeks a dedicated dental assistant to support daily clinical operations. You will prepare patients for examinations, handle orders, and maintain instruments with accuracy.

The role requires a 1–2 year credential or equivalent experience, strong communication, and a willingness to relocate to Nunavut. Flexible, full-time hours with a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College/CEGEP certificate or 1–2 year diploma in a related dental program.
• Experience in a dental practice is an asset.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental examinations.
• Order dental and office supplies.
• Prepare instruments and filling materials.
• Perform reception and clerical duties.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post care.
• Take and develop X-rays and record procedures.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
