Qualifications

  • 1+ year in a manual labor position or related schooling.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Demolition Technician - Restoration

The Demolition Technician position is a career in the property damage restoration industry, primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property-damaging situations. We meet our customers during some of the most challenging days of their lives due to fire, flood, or other disasters. Our team addresses the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism, while working safely and efficiently to preserve as much of the property as possible.

Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour (+ overtime opportunities and on-call bonus)

Responsibilities:
  • Work safely in damaged residential and commercial properties
  • Survey and evaluate damage
  • Perform demolition using hand and power tools
  • Conduct site visits and moisture inspections
  • Set restoration equipment within guidelines
  • Complete tasks and documentation in RMS system
  • Photograph jobs at various stages
  • IICRC certification is available as classes are offered
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency with technology (smartphones, computers)
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and operate RMS, Xactimate, MICA, and other systems
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Participation in on-call schedule
  • Ability to work safely in hazardous environments and operate a company vehicle
  • Maintain confidentiality
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience
  • 1+ year in a manual labor position or related schooling
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent movement around job sites
  • Occasional ladder use
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Effective communication with customers
