A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this position, you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. You will work at heights and in confined spaces, exposed to weather conditions. At this site near Oyen, Alberta, shifts are typically 5 days a week, 8-10 hours per day, with an on-call rotation for off-hours (weekends). The team usually works in groups of 2-3 and climbs 1-2 turbines daily.

✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset and a positive attitude to contribute effectively to a team environment.
✓ You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years of transferable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work experience.
✓ An agricultural background or work experience is a valuable transferable pathway to this entry-level service technician role.
✓ You will undergo training and certification through our state-of-the-art wind technician training program.
