Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is seeking a Demi Chef De Partie to join our award‑winning kitchen team. You will participate in the preparation of high-quality dishes, maintain mise en place, and support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service while upholding the brand’s luxury standards.

Ideal candidates have culinary education (preferred) and at least 2 years of experience, strong English skills, and a passion for service.

Qualifications

• Culinary education is strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years culinary experience in a similar role.
• Passion for food.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Excellent commitment to service and team work.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards.
• Complete mise en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
• Train, motivate, supervise and supervise the work of kitchen staff ensuring standards are met.
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods, including desserts, sauces, soups, and meats.
