Goose Digital is seeking a Demand Generation Specialist to drive paid media campaigns across Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and more. You’ll work with multiple Customers to attract the right audience and optimize campaigns through data-driven strategies.

Based in Canada with 4–5 on-site days at Edmonton or Oakville offices, you’ll collaborate across teams and with Customers to deliver measurable results and maintain certifications in MarTech tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in a digital agency or fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Experience leading small teams or in a project management capacity.
  • Specialized post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or digital media is a benefit.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Google Pay-per-Click campaigns to meet customer goals.
  • Optimize paid campaigns on Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and more.
  • Implement new campaign, bidding, and optimization strategies.
  • Create and edit ad-copy in collaboration with Account Lead.
  • Monitor campaigns and report on performance weekly.
  • QA testing of campaigns, websites, emails and other digital programs.
  • Audit websites and landing pages for SEO remediation and recommendations.
  • Run reports at month-end or during reporting periods.
  • Maintain certifications in MarTech and media platforms.

Your role

The Demand Generation Specialist plays an important role in the success of our Customers. When Customers purchase ‘Digital Marketing’ from Goose Digital, they’re generally looking to ‘Attract the Right Customers’. This role is crucial to bringing that vision to life. The role works with several Customers to enhance their paid media marketing across channels like Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and more. In some cases, you’ll be working on brand new campaigns for Customers still in the early stages of their digital journey, while optimizing these campaigns to new heights. In addition, several MarTech tools are used in this role, ensuring we are using the best tools available to deliver our services. The role is collaborative and works across teams and, at times, in front of Customers.

General Responsibilities

  • Attend scrum meetings, support project plans, for the delivery of services
  • Maintain accurate time logs on a daily basis of activities performed
  • Maintain clean and accurate documentation for your tasks, campaigns, and projects
Demand Generation
  • Build and maintain Google Pay-per-Click campaigns that meet the customers’ business goals
  • Optimize paid campaigns on Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and more
  • Leverage the latest available campaign, bidding, and optimization strategies
  • Build and edit ad-copy, working closely with the Account Lead
  • Monitor (and report on) in-market campaigns on a daily or weekly basis (as needed)
  • Support QA testing of campaigns, websites, emails, and other digital programs
  • Audit websites and landing pages for SEO remediation and recommendations
  • Run reports in a timely manner at month end or during reporting periods
  • Maintain certifications in MarTech and Media platforms used by Goose Digital
Accounts
  • Inspire confidence in our Customers through strong communications of our solutions
  • Provide insights in the progress being made on paid campaigns
  • Support the Account Lead(s) to tackle growth opportunities and overcome obstacles
  • Collaborate with Customers and internal teams to develop and execute action plans
  • Identify gaps in Customers’ marketing process/systems, design better solutions
  • Deliver to the contracted services for Deliverables and/or Subscribed Time
Knowledge & Skill Set
  • Intermediate knowledge of digital marketing in the areas of Paid Media, Search Optimization, Social Media, Email Marketing, Creative Design, Content Strategy and more
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, particularly in data analysis, technical integrations, tagging and tracking, and web standards
  • Intermediate proficiency in Google, Facebook, LinkedIN, X, Bing, Organic SEO strategies, programmatic media, copy editing, and Conversion Optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to uncover business objectives, map out appropriate campaign strategies, and lead a team of individuals to achieve those goals
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong marketing instinct and creative energy
  • Must be organized to prioritize multiple tasks and delegate effectively
  • Must have strong writing and editing skills
  • Detail-oriented with an eye for “pixel perfection” and passionate about their contributions
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented team environment
  • Strong ability to research best practices and new ways of doing things to remain fresh and efficient
Education & Experience

Working Location
  • E xpectation of 4-5 on-site days per week at our Edmonton or Oakville office.
