Delta Hotels Dartmouth by Marriott seeks a Banquet Server to join our events team in Dartmouth, NS. You will report to the Banquet Manager and Supervisor, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining hotel standards during banquet and catering events.

This role requires flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays, a Serve Right certificate, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a valid Serve Right Certificate (or willingness to obtain);
• Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or hotel experience is asset;
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach;
• Ability to lift, carry, and move banquet equipment and stand for extended periods;
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests during banquet and catering events.
• Set up and teardown banquet rooms according to event specifications and hotel standards.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Ensure tables, buffet stations, and service areas are maintained throughout events.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
• Work collaboratively with the Banquet Team, Kitchen Team, and Event Coordinators to ensure successful event execution.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
• Review the Banquet Event Order (BEO) prior to each event to understand event requirements, timelines, room setup, menu details, guest counts, and any special requests, including dietary restrictions, allergies, and VIP accommodations.
• Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.

Job Description
