Delta Hotels by Marriott - Dartmouth is seeking an Overnight Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of lobby, restaurant areas, corridors, and back-of-house spaces. You will sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces to keep a clean and inviting environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and maintain floors in lobby, restaurant and back-of-house areas.
• Clean and sanitize tables, shelving and fixtures.
• Dust ledges, radiators, baseboards and other hard-to-reach surfaces.
• Remove debris and ensure overall cleanliness of guest corridors.
• Conduct nightly floor walks in guest room corridors.
• Ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.

Shifts

Vary in their start and end time and can change due to the needs of our guests. A mixture of days, evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts.

As a Overnight Cleaner, you’ll get to:

• Sweep, mop, and maintain all floors within: Pitch & Pivot Restaurant , Hotel lobby, Back hallways and service corridors Kitchen and culinary work areas
• Clean and sanitize restaurant table bases, shelving units, and other fixtures.
• Dust and clean ledges, radiators, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach surfaces.
• Remove debris and maintain the overall cleanliness of assigned public and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure all cleaning duties are completed in accordance with hotel cleanliness and safety standards.
• Conduct nightly floor walks throughout guest room corridors.
• Remove garbage, debris, and abandoned items from guest room hallways.
• Collect and return room service trays and dishes to designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of guest corridors and elevator lobbies.

• Motivated, detail orientated and organized individual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to excel in a face paced environment.
• Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers.
• Must be able to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to make repeated and continued movements of the shoulders, elbows and hands (below waist and overhead movement) as well as use various cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Cross training in other housekeeping positions is provided. This position requires the ability to work a varied schedule that includes evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts.
