Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to turn each incoming delivery into a smooth product flow. You will maintain inventory accuracy and support store operations with careful handling of goods.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electric lifts, computer, scanner)
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment is a plus

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow to store shelves
• Sort and unpack product and transport to appropriate areas with forklift
• Schedule deliveries and shipments and ensure space for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Support store operations to run smoothly

Become a key member of our Receiving and Handling team! Turn every incoming delivery into a success by ensuring smooth and accurate product flow. Your attention to detail will make all the difference.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
