Save-On-Foods in Victoria, BC is hiring a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from the store to customers’ doors in a safe, timely manner. You will work with the online shopping team to resolve customer issues and maintain high service standards.

Requirements include a valid BC Class 5 license, clean driving record, Serving It Right, customer service experience, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and comfort with GPS/smartphones. We offer a company vehicle, benefits, and paid training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide customer-first service.
• Coordinate with online shopping team and service center for issue resolution.
• Maintain operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely following traffic rules.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and roadworthy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Victoria Save-On-Foods locations in Victoria, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from BC.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
