Job summary

The 401 Group is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to keep parts moving between customers, technicians and our dealership. You’ll be the on-the-road link ensuring fast, accurate deliveries and maintaining a clean, organized vehicle and work area.

This role requires a valid G license, a clean driving record and comfort working outdoors. Wage ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow in a privately owned Canadian company with multiple facilities and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid G license and clean driving record.
• Willing to operate outdoors in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience driving manual transmission is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers and technicians in a timely and accurate manner.
• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment; polish and dry windshields and exteriors.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform end-of-day cleanup.
• Verify delivery receipts and park cars safely in the lot.
• Compare VINs on deliveries with invoices; inspect for damage and missing accessories.
• Record damages and missing items on the delivery receipt.
• Assign stock numbers, catalog and store keys; re-park cars to maximize space.
• Run dealership errands (e.g., pick up parts or customers).
• Clean, protect and preserve interiors and exteriors of vehicles.
• Perform basic maintenance checks (antenna, hood area, etc.).
• Transfer vehicles between Group dealerships as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

We’re looking for a reliable, high-energy Delivery Driver to join our fast-paced dealership team. In this essential role, you’ll be the on-the-road link between our parts department and the customers and technicians who depend on fast, accurate deliveries to keep their day running smoothly.

Wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing

• Deliver parts to customers and technicians in a timely and accurate manner.
• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment; polish, dry and clean windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the day and perform a final cleanup at day’s end.
• Verify receipt of vehicles delivered to the dealer and park cars in the lot safely and orderly.
• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices; inspect cars to detect damage and verify presence of listed accessories.
• Record descriptions of damages and items missing on the delivery receipt.
• Assign stock control numbers to cars, catalog and store keys; re-park cars to maximize space and maintain lot order.
• Run errands for the dealership (e.g., pick up parts or customers).
• Clean, protect and preserve vehicle interiors and exteriors, including engine compartments.
• Perform basic maintenance checks (antenna, under the hood, inside/outside the vehicle).
• Transfer vehicles between dealerships in the Group as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid G Driver’s License
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to drive manual transmission is an asset
• Must be comfortable working outdoors
