Job summary

Save-On-Foods delivery drivers are needed to serve customers from store to door in Red Deer, AB. You will deliver groceries in a van, work with the online shopping team, and ensure on-time, safe, and courteous service.

We provide the company vehicle, gas, insurance, and maintenance coverage. The role offers Fridays pay, team discounts, benefits and pension eligibility, wellness program, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role.
• Must have valid AB driver's license and clean abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer‑first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from AB.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service‑related role.
• A strong work ethic and "Let’s get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
