Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver in Red Deer, AB. You will deliver groceries in a company van, provide friendly customer-first service, and work with online shopping teammates to support orders from store to door.

We provide the vehicle and cover gas, insurance, and maintenance. You’ll travel throughout the day/evening in all weather, with paid Fridays and opportunities to grow within Pattison Food Group Ltd.

Qualifications

• Valid, full Class 5 AB driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Proficient with GPS and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team to resolve returns/refunds.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely following traffic rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean, roadworthy condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in Red Deer, AB.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from AB.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
