Job summary

Top Meal in Calgary is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to transport goods to childcare locations, ensure timely deliveries, and track food temperatures. The role is part-time with 15+ hours per week and a starting rate of $18 per hour.

You will load/unload, maintain delivery records in an internal app, and communicate with customers about schedules and delays. A Class 5 licence and a police background check are required; a food handler certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Cold Foods Bins for each daycare on the route.

• Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections.

*Job Overview*

We are a Childcare Catering Kitchen. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various childcare locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery, and food temperature tracking.

Our schedule for delivery is from 9:00am-12:00pm Monday-Friday, with some STAT holiday closures, and time off around Christmas.

15+ Hours per week at $18 per Hour.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

*Duties*

• Assembling Cold Foods Bins for each Daycare on the route
• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including daily temperature recording and logs utilizing an internal application for tracking
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

• Experience with food handling is beneficial. We will ask you to get a food handler certificate if you don't already have one.
